Sustainability
At Ulna Viola Arts, sustainability is more than a practice—it’s a cornerstone of who we are. Every decision we make is guided by our commitment to ethical, eco-friendly artistry. From the materials we print on to the packaging that delivers your artwork, we strive to minimise environmental impact and maximise the meaningfulness of every piece.

Eco-Friendly Materials
We proudly use innovative, sustainable papers that enhance the artist's paintings and drawings while safeguarding our planet.
Perlino Cotton Paper crafted from 65% virgin fibers, 20% recycled materials, and 15% cotton. Perlino paper minimises environmental harm by using renewable and recycled sources while adhering to strict responsible forestry standards.
Oribi Straw Paper is created from agricultural by-products. Oribi Straw repurposes natural residues into a durable and sustainable medium. Reducing dependence on traditional wood-based paper production lowers carbon emissions and provides a planet-conscious alternative for fine art printing.

Zero-Plastic Policy
We are committed to a zero-plastic policy, ensuring that every aspect of our process reflects care for the environment.
Our packaging is 100% recyclable, crafted entirely from cardboard. By partnering with like-minded suppliers, our prints are shipped to us the same way! including the bands securing our prints. Shipments arrive safely without the use of single-use plastics, thanks to our eco-conscious partners.

Certifications
We are proud that our processes and materials meet globally recognised environmental standards:
-
FSC® Certification guarantees responsible forestry and sustainable sourcing.
-
Carbon Balanced Printing ensures emissions are offset through certified conservation initiatives.
-
Water-Based Adhesives & Coatings offer safer, recyclable alternatives to harmful chemicals

These measures ensure that your order aligns with your values and ours.

Charity Pledge
Rainforest Concern: In collaboration with our print supplier, we proudly support their quarterly charity, protecting vital ecosystems and indigenous communities.
Yaboh Foundation For Thang'Kuh Preservation: Closer to the artist's home; a portion of our profits supports this Darjeeling-based organisation, dedicated to the preservation of the holy home of Indigenous people.
